Step into the cooling Shade Garden from 9am to experience some of the more exotic plants the gardens offer.
Bring a chair or mat to sit down under the poinciana trees and be regaled by Jay Bishoff, Andy Higgins and friends from 10am – pooches welcome under leashed supervision, too.
And don’t forget to order your fresh Bus Stop coffee before settling in.
Maybe make a day of it by bringing some lunch and bag a picnic table – there are many dotted around Lake Macdonald’s edges to choose from.
