Christmas Convoy ready to rumble

Residents line the street to enjoy the Christmas Convoy in Noosa.

The festive spirit hits the streets of Noosa next week as part of the Connecting Noosa Christmas Convoy.

Now in its third year, the festive convoy is back with the same fun and festive hype.

The event is an opportunity to thank our local Emergency Services for their efforts during the year and celebrate Christmas with neighbours.

Santa will lead the convoy of emergency service vehicles including Queensland Police, QFES, QAS, SES, Rural Firefighters, Lifeflight, Noosa Coastguard, Noosa Council, Madill Motor Group and HOT91. Councillors will be onboard over the four days.

The convoy will stop at a number of designated park locations during the four days.

The itinerary is:

Monday 5 December

Boreen Point, Cooroibah and Noosa Banks

Starts from 4pm at Boreen Point Hotel

Tuesday 6 December

Kin Kin, Cooran, Pomona and Cooroy

Starts from Kin Kin School at 3.15pm

Wednesday 7 December

Tewantin, Noosaville

Starts from Noosaville Primary School at 4pm

Thursday 8 December

Peregian, Castaways, Marcus,Sunrise, Noosa Junction and through Hastings Street.

Starts from Peregian Beach Surf Club at 4pm.
