Noosa celebrates volunteers

Volunteers from the Noosa Shire gathered in Noosaville Lions Park on Friday 3 December to celebrate their work and promote their achievements of 2021.

Sunday 5 December is International Volunteer Day, mandated by the UN General Assembly.

This year’s theme is ‘Volunteer now for a common future’, which aims to inspire people, whether they are decision makers or citizens of this world, to take action now for people and the planet.
