Man from Queensland Police Service charged with alleged domestic violence offences

A 60-year-old staff member from the North Coast Region has been charged and suspended from the Queensland Police Service.

A 60-year-old staff member from the North Coast Region has been charged and suspended from the Queensland Police Service, in relation to alleged domestic and family violence offences.

The man was charged with two counts of unlawful stalking, one count each of entering and committing a domestic violence offence and wilful damage, five counts of stealing and nine counts of contravening a Domestic Violence Order.

He was arrested on 14 May and appeared before Maroochydore Magistrates Court on 15 May.

He is due to reappear before Maroochydore Magistrates Court on 19 July.
