7 things to do in Noosa this holiday season

It’s that time of the year again! The weather is getting warmer, the Christmas tunes are playing, and Noosa is getting into the festive spirit.

From live performances to Santa on the beach, fireworks and a huge variety of parties and degustation’s, there is something for everyone to enjoy this festive season.

SANTA ON THE BEACH

Say hello to Santa and get your picture taken with him as he sits in his beach shack on Noosa Main Beach out the front of Noosa Heads Surf Club. Santa will be around from 16 to 23 December between 9am and 11am. Bookings are opening soon at www.hastingsstnoosa.com.au

LIVE PERFORMERS

Get into the festive spirit and head to Hastings Street between 5pm and 8pm, 16 to 19 December enjoy over 20 Christmas inspired pop-up performances and roaming entertainers. There will be musicians, acrobats, elves and more! Fun filled nights for the whole family.

FAMILY CHRISTMAS PARTY, SUNSHINE BEACH SURF CLUB

Get the family together and celebrate Christmas with a fun filled afternoon at the Sunshine Beach Surf Club. Grab yourself dinner and a drink while the kids enjoy face painting, activities, balloon artists and a visit from Santa. The perfect afternoon for everyone to get involved in. 19 December from 3pm – 7pm.

PEREGIAN BEACH CHRISTMAS CAROLS

Sing along to the Christmas classics and enjoy an evening out at Peregian Park. There will be entertainment for everyone, jumping castles, face painting, food trucks, artisan market stalls and of course visit from Santa. 22 December, 3pm – 8pm, $10 per family.

THE CAROL CRUISE

Follow the Noosa Ferry by boat or set up with your family and friends along the Noosa Sound riverbank and listen in as the Sunshine Coast Youth Choir sing popular Christmas Carols from the Noosa Ferry. Celebrate this fun event on 10 December from 5pm.

SUNSET TUNES BY THE SEA

Don’t let the festive cheer end after Christmas! Head to Hastings Street from 27 to 30 December between 5pm and 8pm and catch an array of local musicians playing live music.

FIREWORKS

Say goodbye to 2021 and hello to 2022! The Noosa Marina will be playing live music from 8pm with fireworks afterwards. See out the new year with a bang! A free event for everyone to enjoy.

Noosa is bringing festive cheer this season! From events to lunches and parties, there is plenty of festivities to go around and there is something for the whole family to be involved in.
