Police investigate death of two men in Maroochydore

Police are appealing for information as they continue to investigate the circumstances around two men who were found dead at Maroochydore on 4 July.

Emergency services were called to the Kingsford Smith Parade unit complex around 11.20am in relation to a welfare check.

Upon entering a unit at the complex, officers found a 65-year-old Maroochydore man and a 56-year-old Mountain Creek man inside who were both deceased.

The unit remains a crime scene as investigations into the circumstances of both men’s deaths continue.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have relevant information or CCTV/dashcam vision to come forward.
