Noosa-based touring company Jally Entertainment are enjoying the final weeks of a whirlwind national tour of their latest interactive, educational theatre production, ‘Cinderella Spinderella’.
“Our performances began in Western Australia, in August, and will conclude in St George, Queensland on the 14 November, with a total of 78 performances across W.A, Victoria, NSW and Queensland.
Covering over 23,000 km of road travel, thousands of pre-school and primary school children have been entertained and educated with the story’s messages of respect and kindness.
Some of the highlights include family performances in the indigenous communities of Wiluna (W.A) and Doomadgee (Gulf Country, Qld)
These remote communities had never seen a live theatre show – the children thought they were about to see a movie!
Just seeing their little faces light up was a huge buzz for our Queensland cast”, said playwright, director and performer Alli Pope.
