The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating a serious motorbike crash in Maroochydore on 6 November.
Around 10.15pm, a Yamaha YZF-R7 LA was travelling east on Maroochydore Road when it hit a road sign.
The rider, a 19-year-old Buderim man, was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police are appealing to anyone who witnessed or has relevant CCTV or dashcam vision of the crash, or the black motorbike in the Maroochydore area prior to the incident, to come forward.
Investigations are ongoing.
