Noosa councillors went beyond expectations when they joined musicians on stage at Gympie Terrace last Friday to belt out a rendition of You are my Sunshine, my only Sunshine during a thank you celebration for Noosa volunteers for the work they do in the community.
The International Volunteers Day event brought together some of the many hundreds of volunteer who perform vital services across the shire by supporting community organisations, events and activities.
Volunteers were treated to a free brunch, activities and entertainment on the day.
