Region’s playgrounds and skate parks to reopen

 Noosa Council have announced further reopening’s of playgrounds and skate parks in the area this coming weekend.

Noosa Council’s COVID-19 Taskforce have moved with the state in easing restrictions, so from this weekend the following playgrounds and skate parks will be accessible.

• Pirate Playground, Gympie Terrace

• Peregian Beach Park Playground

• Apex Park Playground, Cooroy

• Splash Park Waterplay, Tewantin

• Sunshine Beach Skate Park

• Peregian Beach Skate Park

The Noosa Regional Gallery resumed operations on Tuesday and will now operate Tuesday to Saturday.

Noosa Aquatic Centre, Noosa Leisure Centre and the Noosaville and Cooroy Libraries will open their doors on Monday June 15, adhering to the states social distancing rules, there will be limits on the number of people able to access the facilities.

Libraries will open from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm Saturday.
