Noosa Coast Guard calls out for volunteers

The Noosa Australian Volunteer Coast Guard needs more volunteers for both radio and boat crews.

They are holding an Information Night at 6pm on Wednesday 17 September at their Munna Pt head office (4A Russell St through the caravan park).

“We are trying to attract people who are interested to learn about the role and operation of the Coast Guard,” Deputy Flotilla Commander Dennis Lock says.

“We will walk through what we do, how we operate, how we train new members for both boats and radio.”

For more information call 07 5474 3695 or email fao.qf5@coastguard.com.au.
