Sunshine Coast University Hospital have provided an update on the condition of two people involved in a near drowning at Noosa on Wednesday.
A spokesperson said the adult male was in a stable condition.
A Surf Life Saving spokesperson told Noosa Today their lifeguards were not involved in the incident, which occurred either near the Dog Beach near Noosa Woods or beachside on Wednesday about 1pm.
Noosa Today has also been told it involved a family four, and a number of Queensland Ambulance Service vehicles were in the area and responded as soon as possible.
Two patients, an adult male was taken to the hospital in a serious condition and a primary school aged female, was also transported following an incident reported off Hastings Street.
It is believed the man suffered a period of immersion.
The school-aged girl was also taken to the same hospital in a stable condition.
It is believed the incident occurred near the Noosa Woods access to the east of Noosa Heads Main Beach.
An ambulance spokesperson told Noosa Today: “Two patients, an adult male in serious condition and a stable primary school aged female, were transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital following an immersion incident reported off Hastings Street at 1.11pm.”
