It was great night at the Tewantin Noosa Lions club’s dinner meeting where president Ian Glew presented a cheque for $2000 to John Reed from Sunshine Coast Legacy.
The funds were raised from the great effort of Tewantin Noosa Lions at the recent Anzac Day memorial ceremony held in Tewantin.
The annual involvement in the service and afterwards results each year in a donation to legacy and this year was no different with the van in high demand after the service with participants buying wares for breakfast.
Lions motto is We serve and this was evident in the tireless work of the members of Tewantin Noosa Lions.
