Noosa first in finals

Fantastic weather and nice paddling conditions awaited clubs at the final round of competition for the season at Rainbow Beach last weekend. Noosa club took out First Place in Golden Masters Mixed, Platinum Mixed, Masters Men Unlimited, and Senior Master Men Unlimited. They were second place in Golden Master Women and Masters Men. These results led to a series win for the first time in the Clubs history. Senior Coach Des Mabbot, at home recovering from hip surgery said: ”Congratulations and thank you to all our paddlers who competed in the various races in our season. Each and every race you did made a difference and contributed to our overall score and underlines the club’s strength in depth.”

The juniors also made a massive contribution with their results. In the end Noosa final tally was almost double that of their nearest opponent, second place getter, Mooloolaba.

The under 12s got first, second, and third with under 14 getting a first in the 4km.
