‘Superstar’ team celebrated on Aged Care Employee Day

Arcare’s annual national team member awards, the STARS, were awarded ahead of aged care employee day, celebrating their incredible team members who go above and beyond.

Each year, families, residents and colleagues nominate the team members who have made a difference to their life at Arcare. These nominations are judged by impartial panels, and winners are awarded in each state.

Arcare Noosa celebrated with two state winners in their midst, including star career Joy King and clinician Kumari Acharya.

According to residents and colleagues, Joy is a “very special person” who makes everyone feel special too.

Joy makes the residents feel genuinely cared for and is always missed when she isn’t working. She is efficient and cheerful, completing all tasks with a smile.

Kumari was nominated by team members, families and residents who praised her as a positive influence. She is a “superstar” and her care and attention to residents is second to none. She communicates well with team, residents and families, making her an asset to all around her.
