Cooroy swimmer success

Cooroy Dolphins have had major success at the recent Wide Bay Short Course Championships held at St Andrews Aquatic Centre.

With all their swimmers posting personal best times over the weekend, not to mention the array of medals they bought home, it sure was a weekend to remember.

However, a special mention has to go to swimmer Hamish Price. Hamish not only came away with the race win in the 50m Fly, he also broke the Wide Bay Championships record.

Coach Andrew Cowan of the Cooroy Dolphins said “I am so excited for Hamish, he has committed to training and these are the results that follow.

Butterfly is hard and Hamish made it look so easy. I am looking forward to watching him break more records in the future.

“You never know maybe a world record one day.”

Cooroy Dolphins are gearing up for another fantastic season of swimming. Club nights kick off in Term 4. If you are interested in joining the club send us an email to cooroydolphins@gmail.com

Don’t forget to follow us on socials @cooroydolphins and come along to our Come and Try nights. Fun, fitness, friendships with a side of swimming.
