A kitchen fire prompted the evacuation of a Noosaville apartment building on Monday evening, 13 October.

Emergency services were called to the incident on Munna Crescent at 6:32pm, with paramedics confirming no injuries or treatment were required.

According to a spokesperson from the Queensland Fire Department, eight crews responded to the blaze, which broke out on the third floor of the six-storey complex.

“The kitchen fire was contained and extinguished just before 7pm,” the spokesperson said.

Firefighters remained on site to ventilate level three and officially handed the premises back to the building manager around 9pm.
