Countdown to Peregian carols

With less than one week to go until the Peregian Beach carols, businesses are warming up for a night to remember in Peregian Park.

“Local musicians, boutique artisan stalls and a gourmet food court will delight every sense as residents and tourists mingle, reflect and sing along,” Peregian Family and Friends president Leigh McCready said.

“We are all looking forward to celebrating Christmas, holidays and the joy of spending time with friends and family.”

“The event would not have been possible without the support of Noosa Council and we are grateful for all the organisers of the long-term Peregian Beach Carols tradition, now in its 57th year, which was run by the Peregian Surf Club and then continued by Peregian Originals, which runs the monthly music festival in Peregian Park.”

Peregian Beach Business Association president Nicki White said they were fortunate to have the support of local businesses who had chosen to sponsor the event.

“We have six major sponsors who are really digging deep to make the event one of a kind. These are Bedouin Traders, Pitchfork Restaurant, Peregian Beach Hotel, Neller Real Estate, White’s IGA and Jet Rose Property.”

“We’ve also received a lot of support from other local businesses which have meant we can put on an event which shines brightly and memorably for Peregian.”

“Thanks also to Peregian Family Medical, Mortgage Choice Peregian Beach, Captain’s Daughter, Pizzami Gourmet Pizza, Options Eyecare Peregian Beach, Annie’s Books on Peregian, Antiques & Possibilities, Baked Poetry, Flitefit and the Tewantin-Noosa branch of the Country Women’s Association.”

“We are also pleased as part of our plastic-free event to welcome Unitywater as our water sponsor so everyone has access to fill up their own water bottles or the Noosa Water aluminium bottles which will be on sale.”

“The night will also feature children’s entertainment, a special guest and friends arriving at 5.30pm and a laser show to conclude the evening at 7.45pm,” Ms McCready said.
