Community thanks Noosa’s medical staff

A Noosaville medical centre team have played a key role in keeping the community safe during the Covid-19 pandemic, having delivered more than 7000 vaccinations.

Noosaville 7 Day Medical Centre practice manager Louise Faleono said the past 18 months has been exceptionally busy for all of her staff.

“They have worked very hard to deliver vaccinations to our community,” she said.

“They are very proud of the part they have played during this pandemic being able to deliver thousands of vaccinations supporting our local community.

“I would love to take this opportunity to thank my entire team for working extremely hard while upholding quality patient care.”

The practice have employed additional admin and nursing staff to cover the high demand during the pandemic.

“Our total vaccinations given so far is 7473,” Louise said.

The medical centre currently has Pfizer and AstraZeneca vaccines available and are running clinics daily delivering the vaccinations.
