A bonanza of plants on sale

It is time again for the famous – and value-laden – Noosa Botanic Gardens Plant Sale, taking place on Saturday 23 September from 7am.

As always, the garden’s friends, a dedicated group of volunteers who do so much for the gardens, have been beavering away preparing a huge range of indoor and outdoor plants for you to take home and cherish in the house, or plant your garden for a wonderful spring showing.

For example, you can get the beautiful poinsettia winter rose, black bat plant (tacca chantrieri), birdwing butterfly vine and Fraser Island vine. Most of the plants have come from seeds and cutting taken from plants in the Noosa Botanic Gardens.

There will be some great specials on offer, too.

If there is something you are particularly looking for, visit noosabotanicgardensfriends.com for advice and information on the sale.

Bargains galore await you, with the sales point being at the upper (closest) car park of the gardens, on Lake Macdonald Drive, about 4km from Cooroy.
