Peregian carols postponed

Heavy rain and a strong wind forecast have forced organisers to postpone Wednesday night’s Peregian Beach Carols.

The Committee told Noosa Today: “The conditions mean Santa’s skydiving arrival would not be able to go ahead safely, and without Santa, the day just wouldn’t be the same!”

“Rain is also forecast in the lead-up to Wednesday and into the following day.”

“The safety of our performers, volunteers and community is always our top priority.”

Organisers have rescheduled the event for 22 December.

Ticket holders have been notified. Tickets remain valid for the new date, with refunds available for those unable to attend via Humanitix.

“We look forward to sharing a magical night of carols, Santa and village cheer.”
