Tag Art supports Katie Rose

Tinbeerwah Art Group members and guests, including Noosa MP Sandy Bolton and Noosa Councillor Ingrid Jackson, celebrated the opening last weekend of TAG’s annual art show in support of Katie Rose Cottage Hospice.

Paintings were snapped up on the opening night and sales continued throughout the three-day show to both locals and out of town visitors.

John Gabrielson CEO of Katie Rose spoke about the hospice before declaring the art show officially open. He thanked TAG and the community for their support which has enabled the hospice to now have three rooms fully operational.

TAG art show co-ordinator Jan Cooke said, “Proceeds from the gold coin entry, raffle, and a percentage from artists sales raised $1100 which we are donating to Katie Rose.”

She said the Tinbeerwah Art Group will be displaying some of the art show paintings at Noosa Civic throughout October.

Tinbeerwah Art Group welcomes new members and meets at Tinbeerwah Hall, cnr Sunrise and Noosa-Cooroy Rd, Tinbeerwah Thursday and Friday 9am-12noon during school terms.
