Police are investigating a fatal crash in the Glasshouse Mountains after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a truck early on the morning of 15 October.
Emergency services were called to Steve Irwin Way, between Bowen Road and Reed Street, at around 6:45am, following reports that a man had been hit by a truck.
The pedestrian, a man in his 60s, died at the scene. The driver of the truck, a 63-year-old man, was not physically injured.
The Forensic Crash Unit is leading the investigation and is appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage or information to contact police.
