Noosa medical investment sold under the hammer for $848,000

A Noosa medical investment has sold under the hammer for $848,000.

Located at 2/168 Noosa Parade, Noosaville, the 97sqm property was marketed by RWC Noosa and Sunshine Coast agents David Brinkley and Paul Forrest on behalf of a local investor who had owned the property for 24 years, and had decided to sell as he headed into retirement.

With RWC’s only female auctioneer Chantel Dielwart calling the auction, the property attracted four registered bidders and three active bidders.

“Our bidders were all investors, with three local Noosa investors, plus one other bidder who was based elsewhere in Queensland and was bidding over the phone,” Ms Dielwart said.

“Bidding was competitive, with a total of 20 bids between our three active bidders, before the winning bid went to the investor bidding over the phone.

“Overall it was a very successful auction, and the vendor was very happy with the result.”

Mr Brinkley said the property had been leased to Noosa Parade Dental Care for the last 20 years.

“Attraction to property was the long standing tenant trading for more than 20 years, plus the good lease term remaining, and fact that dentists are seen as low risk occupants due to the fact that they are an essential service and they are unlikely to relocate due to high cost of fitting out premises,” he said.
