PREPARE TO LEAVE warning is in place for Noosa Heads as a bushfire in the area is expected to worsen.
At 1.55pm a bushfire burning near Noosa Drive and Coral Tree Avenue has worsened and has the means to impact properties in the area.
Residents wishing to leave are asked to travel in a northerly direction along Noosa Drive to Main Beach.
A stay informed warning is in place for a separate fire at Peregian Springs drive and Doonan Bridge Road, fire crews and water bombers are on the scene.
