One of the Sunshine Coast’s most iconic swimwear businesses with two Hastings Street stores has hit the market.
John Petralia of RWC Noosa & Sunshine Coast is selling the Noosa Swimwear Collective, comprising four thriving swim and resort wear retail locations across Noosa Heads, Coolum Beach and Noosaville.
“This is more than just a retail business – it’s a legacy brand built over decades, backed by excellent supplier relationships, high-traffic locations, and a fully systemised operation,” John Petralia said.
“It would be incredibly difficult for a new entrant to replicate this footprint in Hastings Street, making this a unique and strategic acquisition.”
Generating an average annual turnover of approximately $3.65 million, the business operates smoothly with a well-trained team in place.
The owners, two sisters, have established a strong operational structure that allows them to step back, delegating day-to-day operations to trusted long-time staff.
“The current setup is the result of over 20 years of trial and refinement,” Mr Petralia said.
“It’s a platform designed to adapt to retail trends while offering significant scope for expansion; be it new locations, brand extensions, or enhanced digital marketing.”
The business is poised for further growth under new ownership, with multiple pathway options including the addition of new Australian and international brands, own-label merchandise, pop-up activations, or the expansion of its online presence, which to date has grown purely organically.
“With fully staffed stores, decades-long brand equity, and proven performance in high-profile locations, this business is perfectly placed for a savvy investor or operator looking to capitalise on Noosa’s enduring retail strength and tourism appeal,” Mr Petralia said.
