Sponsors and volunteers gathered at the Noosa Yacht and Rowing Club (NYRC) on Tuesday 18 June to celebrate another successful Noosa Come Together festival.

There was great excitement as the Committee announced that this year’s Noosa Come Together festival raised $20,000; exceeding any year since the festival began.

These funds support the Sailability program (Noosa Yacht & Rowing Club), Sunshine Coast Riding for the Disabled and the Sunshine Coast Disabled Surfers Association. The funds raised will allow locals with disabilities to enjoy the lifestyle opportunities many may take for granted.

Behind the scenes of  the festival, an online auction offered attendees the opportunity to bid on local dining vouchers, hotel stays, sporting adventures and all sorts of products and services.

Testament to the support from local business, 150 items were offered up for auction.

Most importantly, anyone attending the festival would have seen a large contingent of locals with disabilities; as they performed on stage, volunteered at the festival, and of course they joined in the fun.
