Auctions to tell story of Noosa property market

Much has changed in the world of real estate over the decades, and two Noosa auctions on Saturday, 21 September, will show how much.

The first, at 3 Allambi Rise, Noosa Heads, dates back almost 50 years while the second, at 38 Seaview Tce, Sunshine Beach, has been with the same owners for 27 years.

Leading Noosa real estate principal Tom Offermann said that while values might change, the primary aspirations were perennial and accompanied by the same soundtrack from almost every buyer.

Essentially: “I’d like a great ocean view, I’d like to walk to the beach, cafes and restaurants, and of course have privacy.”

Smashing those requirements in spades are the two blockbuster properties.

On October 1, 1976, 3 Allambi Rise, recognised with the best views on offer in Noosa, welcomed new owners. This Saturday the three-bedroom, two-bathroom house on 885sq m goes to auction at 2pm.

Meanwhile, at one of Sunshine Beach’s premier oceanfront homes, the overseas owners for 27 years, are inviting a new custodians for this much-coveted address.

The five-bedroom, three-bathroom beachfront house with pool goes to the market at 11am Saturday.

“It’s an honour to be selling these beautiful properties,” Tom Offermann said. “Both are blockbusters in their inimitable fashion and location.”

That has seen interest from many people from all over Australia, and the world during the extensive marketing campaign.

“I’m glad the owners have chosen auction, because everyone has a fair chance to own them on Saturday when they go under the hammer.”

The house at 3 Allambi Rise in Little Cove is an absolute dress circle address as it spills over Main Beach and Laguna Bay.

Little Cove is where the blue of the sea meets the green of the rainforest in the Noosa National Park.

Steered by a watercolour panorama that spreads out before it like an ever-changing artwork, is megawatt-lustrous Noosa Main Beach and the impossibly blue Laguna Bay, ostensibly floating above the trees. Noosa Sound and River waterways stretch to the Noosa North Shore; the Coloured Sands and beyond to Double Island Point.
