Noosa Probus Club celebrates 25th anniversary

The Combined Probus Club of Noosa celebrated its 25th year anniversary on 1 November.

To mark the occasion and commemorate the founding of the club, 110 members attended a celebratory day at the Noosa Golf Club.

The celebrations commenced with a group of the club’s members known as The Probus Players performing a musical spectacular that revisited the music of the 1960s with a show titled 60 Since 60 (60 years since the 1960s).

The performance was followed by a luncheon where Gerald Victor, the president of the Noosa Rotary Club, presented the Probus Club president, Alan Armitage, with a 25th anniversary commemorative certificate on behalf of The Probus South Pacific.

The club is very fortunate to have still have a number of active founding members who were invited to reflect on their years of membership and what that membership was meant to them.
