On Wednesday, the 2026 Senior Leaders of Good Shepherd Lutheran College were officially commissioned during a special Installation and Commissioning Service, a proud and
significant milestone for the students, their families and College staff.
The ceremony was a meaningful occasion filled with reflection, gratitude and anticipation for the year ahead.
At the heart of the service was a powerful reminder; the most memorable leaders are not defined by their titles, badges or positions, but by the way they make others feel. True
leadership is revealed through character, compassion and the positive influence one has within a community.
This message resonated deeply with those in attendance and set a clear tone for the year ahead.
The commissioning complemented the cohort’s recent Year 12 Leadership Day with Michael Fitzpatrick.
Throughout the day, students reflected on what it means to build a positive and united culture grounded in servant leadership.
They were encouraged to lead with empathy, integrity and a genuine desire to uplift others, recognising that everyday actions, words and attitudes shape the environment around them.
