The QCWA Tewantin Noosa Branch held its final street stall for 2024 on Thursday 5 December.

The Christmas Street Stall sold out its baked goods including shortbread and fruit mince pies. Lots of Christmas crafts and gifts, made by the Thursday DIY Divas were snapped up too. Also selling well were general handcrafts and plants.

Many members were on hand to help at the stall and they also had the help of Noosa Women’s Shed members who donated baked goods and had their own table of goods to sell.

More than 80 people visited the stall from the surrounding communities. A very successful morning, with funds raised to support the Noosa Women’s Shed and other women’s projects. QCWA is proud of its history of women helping women.

“As the year draws to a close, we give a big thank you to our members, friends and the local community for your valued support throughout the year,“ they said.

QCWA Tewantin Noosa Branch’s next meeting is Wednesday 29 January, 5pm. The following morning, Thursday 30 January from 9am our craft group, the DIY Divas, resumes. All welcome.

You will find QCWA Tewantin Noosa Branch at the hall next to the Tewantin Post Office in Poinciana Avenue. Members are only in attendance at the hall for meetings, Thursday morning crafts and street stalls.
