Pomona Campus Year 7 and 8 students were celebrated at a whole school parade for being selected as student leaders on Tuesday 14 March.
During the parade, students were presented with a student leadership badge and certificate in recognition of their hard work and commitment to making their school a better place.
Year 7 coordinator Mr Gordon said the parade was a fantastic opportunity to acknowledge the efforts of the student leaders and their contributions to the school community.
“It was heart-warming to see so many students eager to take on leadership roles and develop valuable skills such as event management and public speaking,” he said.
The parade was also an occasion to invite parents to share in the celebration of their children’s achievements.
Proud parents watched as their children received their badges and certificates, highlighting the importance of parental support in fostering young leaders.
The parade showcased the school’s commitment to nurturing and empowering young leaders to make a positive impact on their school and wider community.
By recognising and celebrating their contributions, Pomona Campus is setting an excellent example for other schools to follow in inspiring the next generation of leaders.
