A crowd of more than 6,000 people attended USC’s annual Open Day at its Sunshine Coast campus at Sippy Downs on Sunday 21 July.

Visitors from across Queensland and interstate took the opportunity to chat one-on-one with academics about degrees, talk candidly with current students about university life, and

explore the world-class facilities on campus.

They attended information sessions about various study programs, as well as presentations specifically for high school students and prospective mature-aged students.

Drawcards at this year’s Open Day included a special display and information session about USC’s new Moreton Bay campus, which will open at Petrie early next year, and a Career Collective tent which featured numerous employers from across the region.
