Noosa’s newest black belt

A world class Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt has come to Noosa!

Professor Fabio Bertolli, second-degree black belt, has relocated to paradise on the Sunny Coast to share his knowledge and extensive experience with everyone.

Fabio has a distinguished legacy and lineage in Jiu-Jitsu, beginning his BJJ journey in 1996 training under Grandmaster Carlos Gracie’s grandson Ryan Gracie, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Fabio has a deep passion and knowledge for sports and fitness, holding a degree in physical education at one of Brazil’s most prestigious educational institutions, the University of Sao Paulo (USP).

Upon relocating to Australia, Fabio joined Gracie Barra Sydney and today he holds a second-degree black belt under Marcelo Rezende, a student of Master Carlos Gracie Jr (the founder of Gracie Barra) and Regional Director of Gracie Barra Oceania.

Before joining Gracie Barra Noosa, Fabio was the head instructor of Gracie Barra St Peters for five years, where he developed a highly successful competition team in a great atmosphere.

Fabio has worked and trained with several Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA fighters in Brazil and was the fitness trainer of one of the first female Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belts.

Fabio’s dedication, passion and love for the art is obvious in his teaching and mentoring of all his students.

Those who want to be inspired again, be a part of a great community and find their passion for something are encouraged to come and say hello to Professor Fabio and the team at Gracie Barra Noosa.

Gracie Barra has a long and distinguished legacy in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, is the number one ranked team in competition globally and has over 700 schools worldwide. All instructors are globally certified to provide the best coaching and application of technique in a friendly and encouraging environment.

Gracie Barra Noosa is located at 63A Rene Street in Noosaville. For more information, phone 0456 789 166 or visit gbcoolum.com.au.
