Noosa District State High School has farewelled the Year 12 students with a barbecue, a game of dodge ball and the signing of the Year 12 mural.
Students Bhumisha Lal, Shasha Chen, Jack Dwyer, Jayley Cunnington, Lola Wighton, Morgan Ormiston, Stephanie Hurst, Ashanti Mclean and Holly Schramko Meyers were instrumental in the design and painting of the mural.
The mural celebrated the establishment of the school’s Environment Club, featuring the bird boxes, which was a key project of the club.
Each bird box was painted as a school sporting house colour.
The school’s mascot, the possum, also featured in the design.
The Year 12 student leaders met for the last time with their year level coordinator to celebrate and reflect upon their successful final year of school.
The weather did not put a dampener of the Year 12s final day.
