Noosa Charity Car Show supports Katie Rose

The Noosa Charity Car Show is a fundraising event in support of Katie Rose Cottage Hospice.

There will be a range of select cars of all makes and models on display from every era ranging from pre-1936 cars, to modern day desirables including limited production vehicles and hot rods. Stroll through each era on display, talk to the owners and admire the evolution of vehicles as well as the passion of the owners that maintain and display them.

There will be around 120 amazing cars and an exclusive motor bike display.

Club president Ken McGregor anticipates a relaxed, happy event.

“We want to create a picnic atmosphere where people can appreciate the cars and motorbikes and talk to the owners about their pride and joy in a spacious layout,” Ken said.

“We enjoy our cars and motorbikes, and we are inviting people to share our enthusiasm.

“The Rotary Club of Cooroy is cooking up the BBQ breakfast and lunch goodies. Jo Jo’s Coffee will be serving up coffee during the day, Dairy Delights will be serving ice creams for the kids and big kids.”

Ken said the club was formed only five years ago and “we have over 350 enthusiastic members and growing.”

“There are many car enthusiasts on the Sunshine Coast, and they have these amazing collections of cars and motor bikes tucked away that nobody sees. An event like this will bring them out.”

Plenty of Free on-site spectator parking is available off Mill Street as well as along Gympie Terrace.

Noosa Charity Car Show 8am-1pm, Sunday October 1st, Chaplin Park, Mill St, Noosaville. Entry $5 adults, children U14 free when accompanied by an adult. Sorry no dogs allowed. All proceeds go to Katie Rose Cottage Hospice.
