Police have charged a man following investigations into an alleged assault in Coolum Beach on 31 December 2025.
Officers were called to a licensed venue on David Low Way around 11.50pm, following reports a male employee in his twenties had been allegedly assaulted by a male patron.
The employee allegedly sustained non-life-threatening head injuries and was transported to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition.
Following an appeal for information, a 57-year-old Peregian Springs man has been arrested and charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.
He is expected to appear before Maroochydore Magistrates Court on 20 February 2026.
