Man taken to hospital

A man has been transported to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition following a multi-vehicle traffic crash at Doonan on Thursday morning.

Queensland Ambulance Service said crews were called to Eumundi Noosa Road about 10.15am after reports of a collision involving multiple vehicles between Duke Road and Redwood Road.

The man was assessed at the scene before being taken to hospital complaining of back pain.

The crash caused lane reductions in both directions along the busy stretch of road, with motorists warned to expect delays and proceed with caution while emergency services attended the scene.

Queensland Police and traffic authorities were also on site managing traffic conditions.
