A man in his 50s was flown to hospital after his hand became trapped in a meat grinder on a Sunshine Coast property on Sunday 28 September.
The LifeFlight Rescue Helicopter, tasked by Retrieval Services Queensland, landed in a nearby paddock around 1:40pm.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, Queensland Ambulance paramedics, and LifeFlight’s critical care doctor worked together to free the man before he was airlifted to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.
