Lions Club delivers

Members of the Tewantin Noosa Lions Club rolled up their sleeves and delivered a huge day for the community at the Noosa Australia Day Festival, held on Monday 26 January. From early set-up through to pack-down, volunteers worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the popular event ran smoothly and remained free for locals and visitors alike.

The annual festival, which brings together families, community groups and organisations from across the region, relies heavily on volunteer support — and this year was no exception. Lions Club members could be seen assisting across multiple areas of the event, contributing countless hours to create a welcoming and enjoyable celebration for all ages.

The club also extended a heartfelt thank you to the QCWA Tewantin Noosa, whose members arrived armed with an impressive spread of homemade treats and goodies that proved a hit with festivalgoers throughout the day. Their contribution added an extra layer of warmth and hospitality to the celebrations.

Organisers said the success of the Noosa Australia Day Festival was a true reflection of community spirit, highlighting what can be achieved when local groups work together. With the support of dedicated volunteers and community partners, the festival once again delivered a memorable day that celebrated connection, generosity and local pride.
