Police have released images of a man who may be able to assist officers with the investigation into an alleged assault in Buddina on Thursday 23 January.
Initial investigations indicate an 83-year-old man exited a shopping centre on Point Cartwright Drive around 5pm, when an altercation occurred with a man not known to him.
Emergency services were called, and the 83-year-old man was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital for assessment.
Anyone who recognises the man, or who has information that can assist investigators, is asked to contact police.
