Students at Tewantin State School got into the spirit of Book Week with a jam-packed program of events, capped off with their dress up day and author performance last Friday.
This year’s theme was Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds and there were some wonderful and imaginative costumes throughout the school.
The students welcomed community readers to their classrooms, enjoyed a teddy bears’ picnic and were visited by author Deano Yipadee, who presented a fantastic live show of his books including singing, movement and lots of laughs.
Tewantin State School said they send a special thanks to Noosa Mayor Clare Stewart and Constable Craig for their time.
