Ben Archard takes on Noosa Tri for Prostate Cancer awareness

Noosa resident and Icon Cancer Centre Noosa site manager, Ben Archard, will take on this year’s Noosa Triathlon to raise funds for the Noosa Prostate Association.

He already has the support of Noosa Rotary, who recently donated proceeds from their Bunnings BBQ and raffle prizes to the cause.

Ben said, “Living in this community, I’ve seen firsthand the impact prostate cancer has on local men and their families.”

“This is my way of giving back and standing alongside the many families touched by prostate cancer every day.”

The Noosa Prostate Association, together with the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia and Icon Cancer Centre, was instrumental in securing a Prostate Cancer specialist nurse for Noosa.

Based at Icon Cancer Centre, Michelle Sumegi provides vital support and care for men and their families.

Ben is encouraging the community to support his triathlon challenge by donating, spreading the word, and cheering him on race day.
