AUSTRALIA’S multi-award-winning romance writer Helene Young will be visiting Noosaville Library in July, following the release of her latest novel Northern Heat.
The former Qantas pilot and captain now lives aboard a forty-foot Lagoon catamaran and is Penguin’s best writer in the romance suspense genre.
Northern Heat is Helene’s sixth novel in six years and blends the classic rural romance tale with a storyline filled with criminal intrigue and danger.
Issues of domestic violence, redemption, single parenting, food disorders, busy careers, strong motivated heroes are all explored in the novel, alongside regional and environmental issues in the unique and picturesque setting of Cooktown in North Queensland.
Helene will be speaking and promoting her latest novel at Noosaville Library on Thursday 2 July at 6.30pm.
