Hard to get them off the field

Soccer Eagles

Under-6 Noosa Gold.
Under-6 Noosa Gold defeated Bli Bli 5-3, these little ones have the spirit of soccer in them, playing really well as a team passing and sharing the ball time. All first-time players they all play well together, and have only lost one game all season which they are very proud of. The team turn up to every practice and are always there to play on Saturdays… sometimes not wanting to come off the field!

Under-7 Black
The Under 7 Black team were back in the game this week defeating Pacific Lutheran 5-1. Sammy Poulton and Alaska Rosenkranz had a great game in attack with Alaska booting though four strong goals and Sammy capturing the fifth. One of this season’s new players, Keiran Dow took home the encouragement award this week having a few great runs with the ball, showing how all that practice and training pays off. Eamon Shamansky and Joe Maskall did a fabulous job in goals stopping all bar one the entire game. It was a great team effort all round for the Under-7 Black’s.

Under-7 Gold
Noosa Gold under 7s played a cracking game against the Bli Bli Chargers, unfortunately the chargers came out on top with the end score 4-2.
Xavier Attard played like a super star and took home the player of the match, after scoring his first goal. The other goal was scored by the force of nature that is Harrison ‘the Bolt’ Howard.
Reuben Taylor wowed the crowd with his best game yet.

Under-11 Gold
The Under 11s played Palmwoods Gladiators in what was a comfortable 5-1 win. Noosa gold worked well together in a team effort victory. Coach’s award went to Tyler Ackerman who had a great game playing in defence and mid field while player of the week went to Cassady Hillegers who is showing great improvement.

Under-12 Gold
U12 Noosa Gold had a very tough game on Saturday when they came up against the current A Division leaders, Caloundra Gold. Noosa put up a courageous effort and played hard, particularly in the second half when they kept Caloundra from scoring for nearly the whole half. Goalkeepers Callum Wallis and Jay Medhurst did a brilliant job and stopped many attempts, but the final score was a very skilled Caloundra 11 defeating Noosa 1. Flynn Sperlich scored the only goal for Noosa.
