Seniors share funniest moments

THIS week I went to leave for work while wearing my slippers. If it wasn’t for the way I have to scuff my feet when I wear them, I would have got all the way to work before I realised.
We asked Noosa Today readers to share their funniest “senior moment”, and we certainly got some good ones.
Share your senior moment and go in the draw to win a double pass for BCC Noosa 5 Cinemas. Simply email competitions@noosatoday.net.au or write to 36 Mary Street, Noosaville.
“Last winter, I put the Sunday roast in the top oven, set the timer for the bottom oven and took the family for a lovely stroll along Gympie Terrace, only to return to a still-cold joint of meat and spaghetti on toast for dinner. Luckily the grandkids loved it.” – Gaye Spencer, Tewantin
“After moving in with my partner before our wedding, I thought I would be clever and place our important documents into a very safe place. Do you think I could ever find them? Hubby is sure I threw them out with the packing. Only mere months before our honeymoon, we started the mad dash to replace passports and papers. He’s never let me live it down.“
– Marie Grounder, Sunshine Beach
“Last week, I went to my sister’s house for dinner and a puppy play date for our dogs. Only when I got to her house, I realised while I had got my dog ready to go, I had left her at home. It was a very sad puppy I came home to.” – Megan McCulloch
