Drug offenders queue in court

ELEVEN people appeared in Noosa Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday charged with drug offences, including one woman who will answer 14 drug-related charges at a later date.
Of those who had their matters dealt with on Tuesday, the youngest was a 17-year-old renderer who was charged with three drug-related offences including drug possession.
The man’s Black Mountain home was searched on 26 March, where police found 45 grams of cannabis, plus utensils used for smoking the drug.
The man was placed on a four month good behaviour bond and ordered to attend the drug diversion program. No conviction was recorded.
A 24-year-old concreter also pleaded guilty to three drug-related offences including the possession of 0.6 grams of ice and a glass pipe.
The man was placed on a six month good behaviour bond and ordered to attend the drug diversion program. No conviction was recorded.
An 18-year-old chef pleaded guilty to possessing drug utensils including a cone piece, hose and scissors and was placed on four month good behaviour bond and ordered to attend the drug diversion program.
The remaining defendants had their matters adjourned to a later date.
