ALFRESCO’s Cafe will be transformed into a Spanish fiesta with guest musicians Flamarique Gitanos bringing their gypsy sounds to the local venue this Saturday 20 June.
Headed by world-class Flamenco guitar rhythms and voice of maestro Paco Jimenez and the virtuosic, gifted guitar notes of Miguelito Ellkema, Flamarique Gitanos revives songs and music in a repertoire that will take you into a sound-scape journey of Southern Spain.
From the Flamenco Rumba, Soleas, Tango and Sevillanas, this infectious music style requires great passion and authentic knowledge and is sure to keep the audience entertained.
Also part of Saturday’s act is World music percussionist Jalberto Maldonado, well known for his dynamic rhythms and his dedication to promote World music.
A customary “finger licking” menu will also be available on the night to keep appetites satisfied.
So warm yourselves up with a night of fiery music and warming dishes at Alfresco Cafe.
An evening with Flamarique Gitanos at Alfresco’s Cafe, 1381 Eumundi-Noosa Road, Eumundi, is on Saturday 20 June, from 6pm to 8.30pm. Admission is by donation however bookings are essential for dinners – call on 5442 7613.
