CELEBRATED Australian award-winning photographer and publisher Steve Parish OAM, will present many of his highly acclaimed images at the Noosa Photo Club on Monday 13 July.
Steve’s career in capturing images of Australia’s people, places and wildlife for more than 50 years is not only regarded by photographic judges and his peers as exceptional, but through his publishing of Australian Photographic books, calendars and postcards many Australians and overseas visitors may have purchased at least one of them over the years.
The Noosa Photo Club president Carol Beckham said Steve’s passion for his work showed through with his stories from the heart, and he would reveal how he shoots.
“In fact every one of his images tells a story,” she said.
“I know he will share many of his tips and tricks. This is an evening that will excite, motivate and transfix you.
“We are proud to have Steve as our July speaker, so anyone with an interest in photography or would like to see how Australia is presented through the eyes of one of Australia’s top image makers, you can do so for just $10 entry fee, includes supper.”
Doors open 6.30pm starting 7pm sharp, finishing about 9.30pm.
The meeting will be held at the club’s venue, Noosa Coastal Uniting Church 6 Grasstree Court, Sunrise Beach.
