A German backpacker and a 63-year-old woman remain in a critical condition after a horrific crash on Noosa Parade on Monday afternoon.
Police said a car appeared to have driven through the roundabout, with witnesses saying the car was “out of control” before colliding with two male pedestrians.
A 24-year-old German man suffered serious leg injuries and was airlifted to Brisbane hospital, where he remains in intensive care.
The driver of the vehicle was taken to Nambour Hospital and is also in a critical condition.
A 20-year-old man was also struck by the car, but was discharged from hospital on Monday night.
Police and the Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.
